A federal jury has ordered Google to pay $425.7 million for illegally tracking users' smartphones over nearly a decade. The class-action lawsuit covered approximately 98 million devices in the US, resulting in roughly $4 per device in damages. Google denies wrongdoing and plans to appeal.
