Sony Discontinues Production of Several Storage Media

Sony announced that it will cease production of Blu-ray discs, MD recording discs, MD data discs, and Mini DV cassettes in February 2025. This marks the official end of these once-popular storage media, with Sony stating there will be no successor products.
