This expansion aims to compete with established players like Gmail and Microsoft 365 by offering features like Thunderbird Appointment (scheduling), Thunderbird Send (file sharing, rebuilt from the discontinued Firefox Send), and Thunderbird Assist (a locally-processed AI writing tool). Thundermail provides email hosting using the open-source Stalwart stack.
