Google Simplifies Search Domains: ccTLDs Are Going Away

Google announced it will gradually phase out country-code top-level domains (ccTLDs, such as google.ng and google.com.br), redirecting all traffic to google.com. This is based on Google's improvements in providing localized search results over the years, making ccTLDs unnecessary.
