Revolutionary Meta-Grating Achieves Unprecedented Light Control

Researchers at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) have developed a novel meta-grating that boasts four times the light control efficiency of conventional gratings. This flat, metamaterial-based component, constructed from tiny meta-atoms, enables subwavelength precision control over light's phase, amplitude, and polarization, offering precise manipulation even at steep angles of incidence.
