China's Dramatic Reduction in Sulfur Dioxide Emissions

China has slashed its sulfur dioxide emissions by over two-thirds in the last 15 years. This significant decrease, primarily driven by emission limits on coal plants and the introduction of desulfurization technologies, has dramatically improved air quality, particularly in major cities.
