He highlighted the US and the Middle East as leaders in AI implementation, contrasting this with Europe's lagging progress and what he perceived as a sense of resignation among its players. This is attributed to Europe's stringent AI regulations and its low market share in crucial AI infrastructure areas like raw materials, cloud infrastructure, and supercomputers. While Europe leads in AI semiconductor equipment manufacturing, its market share in these other areas is below 5%.
