Dutch Court Upholds Ruling Against Apple's App Store Practices

A Dutch court upheld a 2021 ruling against Apple, finding that the tech giant abused its dominant position in the App Store by imposing unfair conditions on dating app developers. The court sided with the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), which had ordered Apple to allow alternative payment methods and lower its commission fees.
