Procrastination Pays Off: A Space Invaders Game for Learning Japanese

A beginner Japanese learner, needing Hiragana and Katakana practice, built a Space Invaders-style game, "Mochi Invaders," instead of using existing resources. While technically procrastinating, the project involved learning SpriteKit and extensive app testing, resulting in a surprisingly effective learning experience. The game is now available on the App Store.
