Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University have unveiled Genesis, an open-source robot simulation system that trains robots 430,000 times faster than real-world training. Genesis leverages graphics cards to run up to 100,000 simulations concurrently, drastically reducing the time needed for robots to learn complex tasks like object manipulation, walking, and tool use.
