The FBI advises companies to strengthen hiring processes, limit permissions, and monitor network traffic to prevent such attacks. A joint statement from the US, South Korea, and Japan revealed that North Korean state-sponsored hacking groups stole over $659 million in cryptocurrency in 2024.
