CPANSec Becomes a CVE Numbering Authority: Boosting Perl Ecosystem Security

After years of development, the Perl ecosystem security group CPANSec has officially become a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA). This means CPANSec can now assign CVE identifiers to vulnerabilities in Perl and CPAN modules, enabling better tracking and management of security issues and further enhancing the security of the Perl ecosystem.
