Investigation revealed a prematurely public GitHub repository leaked information, exploited by a domain sniper. Despite contacting Namecheap for assistance, recovery failed. The author chose an alternative domain, reflecting on the ethics of domain sniping and the importance of information security before launching open-source projects.
