New Orleans ICE Raids: US Citizen Children Deported

In a shocking early morning raid, New Orleans Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported at least two families, including two mothers and their minor children—three of whom are U.S. citizen children aged 2, 4, and 7. One mother is pregnant. These families, long-time residents with deep community ties, were deported under deeply troubling circumstances raising serious due process concerns. ICE denied access to attorneys and family members, isolating the families during critical decision-making moments regarding their children's welfare. One family's U.S. citizen child, suffering from a rare form of metastatic cancer, was deported without medication or access to their doctors.
