iNaturalist Opensources Parts of its Computer Vision Models

iNaturalist has open-sourced a subset of its machine learning models, including "small" models trained on approximately 500 taxa, along with taxonomy files and a geographic model, suitable for on-device testing and other applications. The full species classification models remain private due to intellectual property and organizational policy.
