A Canadian homeowner's security camera captured what might be the world's first video and audio recording of a meteorite impact. The meteorite landed precisely where the homeowner had been standing just minutes earlier on Prince Edward Island in July 2024. The homeowner, alerted by strange debris, reviewed the footage to witness the event. The University of Alberta confirmed the meteorite, named the "Charlottetown Meteorite," as an ordinary chondrite.
