أوقفت شركة سيلبريت لتقنيات الطب الشرعي المتنقلة خدماتها في صربيا بعد اتهامات باستخدام الشرطة ووكالات المخابرات الصربية لتقنيتها في فك قفل هواتف صحفي ونشطاء، ثم زرع برامج تجسس. وقد دفع تقرير منظمة العفو الدولية الذي ي detail the misuse to an investigation by Cellebrite and the subsequent decision to halt product use by the implicated customer. While hailed as a crucial step in combating the misuse of technology for political repression, the duration of the suspension remains unclear.
