This follows OpenAI's recent announcement of a nearly $6.5 billion acquisition and plans for dedicated AI hardware. OpenAI claims the deal is still on but removed the references due to a trademark lawsuit from iyO, a hearing device startup spun out of Google X. A blog post and a nine-minute video featuring Ive and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announcing the acquisition have been taken down.
